Menopause HRT – Is There An Alternative?

The process of menopause revolves around the depletion of estrogen levels in the blood stream as a result of the gradual shutting down of the ovaries. Increasing the levels through treatment such as menopause HRT is often the course of action taken.

While it’s true HRT is effective in the “quick relief stakes,” research also indicates HRT can promote several “nasties” with unpleasant side effects so for greater peace of mind, discuss in detail with your doctor both the pros and cons of HRT.
